Some More Berus...

Postby Andreas Thorbeck » Wed Aug 25, 2010 2:26 pm

These pictures were taken in Frankonia (North of the "Weisswurst-Equator") two weeks ago on August 11th. In the morning it was quite cloudy and there was some light rainfall. Around 11.00 a.m. the sun came out and this was the time when I was able to take these "in situ" shots of these beautiful snakes (which I believe to be all females)!

Nice photos Andreas. I had a similar situation the other week (August 12th) at my local place. It was 24*C and full sun, so I only saw Zootoca. It poured down with rain for 15 minutes, then the sun came out again. Within 5 minuted I had found a nice female berus basking. Great stuff.
