It seems that except in extremely cold months you always get to see berus close home! ;) Agilis are cool!

Cool stuff. The last agilis female is a real beauty. I also love the juvenile zootoca.

Yes, the last agilis is great. I've never seen one (or even a picture) of one like that from the UK.

That brownish coloration of the sand lizards in your habitat is really awesome.

Peter, you know this area also! I have been there many times a year since many years and it was the first I saw the hypomelanistic agilis. The male was about 20 meters away where I found the female, so I hope to find more the next years.

Wow nice colours.
I think these lizards are no sand lizards this must be grass lizards ;) , very acrobatic.

The past 10 Days I don`t visited the Lake area, because it was too hot. Temperatures were in the low thirty’s. Last Friday the last hot day of these period we had 31 Degrees on Saturday we had 13 Degrees and a lot of Rain. Sun came out late, at about 17.00, I drove to the lake to watch for the gravid berus. I found just one of three, still gravid. I came back on Sunday morning a lot of sun but not warm about 14 Degrees and found just that female again not more. Monday after work I was back an as usual, just that one female not more. I was walking around pictured a Zootoca

And agilis

Found the hypo male again

And then to my big surprise I found the first fresh born berus of the season!!!

So my guess is, that the gravid female drop down the Babies and left the gravid-berus-sun-basking-place after that.
