I found 2 species of salamanders yesterday. :)
I was actually looking for Rana dalmatina, I found 3. But unfortunately, no pictures. Only egg-pictures ;) :

Damn it, Peter...

I should have joined you, instead of wasting a day in suburbia, paying hommage to a friend's baby.
I wanted in fact to go for the first Coronella's...

It gets even worse. While I was inspecting some temporaria and bufo eggs in the 'beautiful' local park's goldfish pond, one of the 3-year olds in our company fell in the water, causing panic all over. The day was followed by an interesting discussion with my girlfriend concerning our own desire to have offspring, in the light of the events of the day...

I lost all my social contacts, because in Spring and Summer I´m in the field in fall my depression starts and during the winter time I`m mostly drunk!

I need social contatcts, I have to meet some of you in spring/summer

Jeroen, you should report the 3 years old human puppy to the autorithies..as the amphibians are protected by law and its not permitted to disturb them without special permission
...and I doubt that he has the permission ;)

Haha Rok, you're the ultimate children hater :D

Bring on the Pelodytes Jeroen, I love them!

Very nice finds everyone, looks like I will have to go back in the field again as well, it's already been a week ago!
