Füssen is a city in southwest Bavaria and very famous in the world for the Castle Neuschwanstein of King Ludwig II.
Millions of Tourists visit this place every year.
But the Castle was not reason for me to visit this area.
I Have still holidays (till the End of the Week) and was with a friend in the Füssen area to look for Salamandra atra.
We found a few under rotten woods and Stones. They are very hard to picture, they will never stand still, running all the time!
I found also two Mesotrition alpestris.
On the way back to the car I found a young (last year) Baby Vipera berus.
Just 10 Meters away from the first I found a second!!!
On the Way home we made a break at the Lake where I pictured the Vipera berus the past days and I caught a black Natrix natrix. Not the best black, but a nice one.
We also saw one Lacerta agilis, a few Zootoca vivipara and three Anguis fragilis during that trip.
