Cool find's!! I'm so much looking forward to this season. :) I guess I just put my first reptile finds in the wrong topic. Will put my next observations in here.

Although amphibians are waking up in my garden, and toads are being helped across my local roads.. today I saw my first reptile of 2014.. a beautiful neonate berus.. a great start to the season.. little fella out basking in the weak sun.. around 8 degrees..

I haven't seen any reptiles yet. :( I don't have berus were I live. Natrix natrix didn't wake up yet.
I saw my first amphibian. Not a very special one, but still a very beautiful Rana temporaria. :)

Sand Lizards basking on the Dorset Coast on 22nd of February. Just three days later than their first showing last year. Quite surprising considering the storms, high tides, flooding etc. of this winter.

That's my first reptile this year, apart from P. muralis (i'd say they don't count ;-) ), at the beginning of last week. It can't compete with the quality of pictures here, but it was honestly a little surprise for me to find 5 of them (only juveniles were out).
