I´ve never found a melanistic Zootoca vivipara :( but it looks very beautiful...looking forward :D Where did you found the black Natrix natrix ?

Andre, I know a few places for natrix but only one Population where balck natrix occur and this is just 35 km south of my hometown.

Up here in Denmark solid black - except for the yellow nuchal blotches - is the norm for grass snakes though some are dark slate gray with a faint pattern. My local adder population also has a majority of black individuals and melanistic vivipara are supposedly not all that rare. I've never seen one, though. The specimen shown here is - as others have commented - stunning.

So, who will post a gotlandica, carbonarius, black asp, ...?

Not all black but very interesting looking - don't think I've ever seen one quite like that before.
