Postby Mario Schweiger » Mon Sep 14, 2009 7:32 am

Hello,

from wednesday morning, September 9th to Friday afternoon, Sept. 11th we have been in the Seewinkel (Burgenland, Austria) again.
Reason for the trip have been again, checking the larger Puszta meadows for suitability for herps. At this time the autumn aspects, like species and amount of grasshoppers, etc.

For location and herp species living there, please see: http://fieldherping.eu/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=52.

Here now some pictures of lizards and amphibians, found at this time.

When I was there (I have to drive about 300 kms at least), it was much to early or a few days to late.
The males have turned to a pink color.
