Awesome pictures ! I do not really like the climbing adders but I do really like their pattern !
I wish I can find one like this !

I've been looking around these last days but now I'm working so it's pretty hard to find the time.
If I don't always have it,when I have, I do not waste it !!!

Good stuff, Alex! It's great that you didn't become bored with the local herps, after your time in Australia ;)

Thanks, because I had already been afraid that what he really meant was "howler"...
Namely, the guys are starting a few weeks to early. May g/God help them, because
nobody else can.

I don´t know if God helped us, but Bero and Ivo did of course ;)

Well, actually I performed more as the Holy Spirit, from afar, via SMS and e-mail, but more-or-less it worked...
Finally, when everything else failed, I recommended them to consult Jesus himself (Ivo Peranić), who's in the
field
(the actual bodily incarnation!), and he did a magnificent job indeed - on Easter, mind it...

Some nice findings already guys - good to see your pics.

I've recently relocated to Gloucestershire and managed to check out the local environs this weekend - managed 4 zoots, 3 slow worms and 2 natrix on Saturday plus 9 adders (7m + 2f) on one site today, one female was a monster! Left most of them alone photo-wise, but here's a couple of shots from the weekend.

Finally time to go out AND have decent(ish) weather! Found several species but I at least wanted to share this picture of a basking baby adder (Viper berus) on top of an adult. I observed them for quite some time and it was just a joy to watch.
