Berlin Trip in June

Postby Robert Jaques » Tue May 19, 2015 10:49 am

I'm planning a trip to Berlin towards the end of June. I know it might not be the best time of year to see herps but I'm hoping a few species might still be about. I'll be on public transport. Any tips? Would any Berliners have interest in showing me a few places? I don't have much in the way of finances but I would be happy to pay for a meal in compensation for time and company. I'm also interested in mammals, birds, inverts etc. Basically anything alive that I am unlikely to see in the UK. Urban goshawks, wild boar and raccoons are high on my list, and I've heard tell of pine martens. General travel tips would also be hugely appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance for any advice whatsoever.
