Thanks, I use the cheap canon 10-18 mm, I'm starting to really love those "wide angle macro" shots, I'm already thinking to upgrade my gear, even though for now this lens does a great job for snakes, but I can't focus close enough for insects.

You should try the Laowa 15mm macro if you are wanting to upgrade your gear. It's a great lens and it can focus insanely close
