Herping during the corona pandemic

Today I would like to share some pictures of some of today’s finds in the southern part of Hessen/Germany.
I went there today with my son and a friend to loo for Z. Longissimus.
It turned out that we found 10+ Z. Longissimus, 2 Natrix (don’t know the subspecies but it should be N.n.natrix)) and ‚several hundred‘ A. Fragilis.
The highlight of the day had to be found when we were about to leave - a mating pair of Z. Longissimus.
All in all a very enjoyable experience during crazy times.
