A very nice coloured and marked Vipera berus female from "my" peat bog:

May 28th; 7:55 a.m.: milky eyes - a few days before shedding

June 8th; 6:37 a.m.. now she is realy a beauty:

Mario I found one close to yours a few years ago. Size was about 35 - 40 cm

it was from an area where mainly darkbrown berus with no markings occurs.
