Hello,

as promised I show some pictures from around my home in Weingarten BW in south Germany from this spring, like said I´m not the best photographer, they are all made with a normal digital camera ;) .

Nice observations Dom. The habitat shot, a forest with marshy area and small trees in front, looks quite similar to my local place for adders and common lizards. Probably not that surprising really. I'd agree with you on the pool frog, although its hard to say its a male from that pic. Did you see vocal sacs? Cool photos of the terrapin and the tree frogs, they're my favourite frogs!

Dominik,

I´m very unlucky!!!
I wanted to turn the Orchid pic 90° right, but now all attachments are gone!
I dont know, why this has happened?
Please upload them again!

The Orchis is Orchis maculata!

EDIT: everything is ok again!

Nice photos, animals and habitats, you have nothing to complain about, skills only can get better when you practice a lot.

I thought male because of the intensive lemon yellow, it also was a smaller one, but I´m not shure about this.
Thanks for classifying and turning round Mario.

There has cbeen some confusion with the orchid: It should be Orchis mascula. I think you confused it with Dactylorhiza maculata...
Dominik, is it Weingarten at Karlsruhe or at Ravensburg?
