On Sunday it was sunny with some clouds and it looks sometimes close to a thunderstorm,
But we had luck.
We were around the city Füssen and found some young Rana temporaria, a few Bufo bufo, two Ichthyosaura alpestris and some Salamandra atra, the species that was on top of Peter`s wishlist.
Than we change the area and found one of these creatures.

On an other place we found a few Lacerta agilis, Zootoca vivipara, a lot of Natrix natrix and
two Vipera berus.

That was it for the first day.
At night we have some thunderstorms with a lot of rain.
The next day it was overcast but not cold, about 19°. On the way to our meeting point I made a short break and checked an area under a high bridge and found a Coronella austriaca.
She laid total free but in front of her was a lot of grass, so the picture is trash.

After I changed my position the snake escaped.
After we met we walked a long on a Farm road and find a young berus on the way.

Than it starts to rain.
We wait under a tree a short time and try our luck again. We walked around an found two Natrix natrix.

After I pictured that one, it starts to rain again.
When the rain stopped, we went back to the cars and changed the area.
We found more Natrix Natrix, a lot of Pelophylax and a few Zootoca`s.
Peter made some Dragonfly and butterfly pics and than we left.
I think Peter was satisfied with the herps we found and promised he will come back again.
On the way back home I made a break again at the bridge to look for the Coronella.
She was there again and I made one of my best Coronella in situ pics ever.

In the neighbourhood there was also a very nice Natrix natrix.
