Lizard weekend

Postby Peter Oefinger » Sun Apr 03, 2011 6:58 pm

Hi, this weekend I spent in Southern Germany visiting some lizard habitats. The first was a population of introduced Podarcis muralis nigriventis:

Nice Italian guy...

Two boys and a girl: this will cause trouble!

The guys immediately started to fight...

Autsch!

The lucky looser: no seroius damages!

Later, I visited a well known habitat of Lacerta bilineata:

There, I was looking for something, Andre Schmid already posted last year - and it worked! A black Podarcis muralis:

That's all for now.
Regards
Peter

Awesome photos Peter! I especially liked the first one, the one of the male biting the other, and the bilineata picture. Great stuff.
