In the state of Vaud, I've found 2 beautiful asp vipers but could only take a picture of the first one because the second escaped too fast. Too sad, it was an amazing red specimen!

Again in the state of Vaud at 2 different places. Two asp vipers at the first spot and three hierophis virdiflavus (but only one pictured, the two others escaped too fast...) at the second spot.

State of Vaud, during the day we've found three asp vipers but the first one escaped too fast for a picture.

Hi Bastien,
Congrats for those observations, the red asps are very nice. The last asp I found in Lausanne was in the Vivarium de Lausanne one month ago
There are terrariums located outside and I was able to see one grey asp and an Aesculapian snake even if it was cold and raining
Did you already try to find snakes on the southern side of Lake Leman?

Thanks!
Do you mean on the french side of the Leman lake? The only places I've been to near the lake where around Geneva, Lausanne and Villeneuve...

We only found 1 asp viper that day. We visited 2 places always in the state of Vaud, the 2nd one looking for Natrix natrix but we only saw frogs.

3 asp vipers (only 1 pictured unfortunately), 1 Hierophis viridiflavus (completely hidden in the bushes, impossible to catch on camera...) and a few lizards.
