I`ll post my only live berus i found.
From a two week geology field / camping trip in the Carpathians where it rained for 13 days! But in the one day that had some sunshine i went out on my own and saw my lifer adder.
And it was before the age of the digital cameras. It`s shot with a colleague`s World War 2 russian camera.
So, Paul, this are very treasured pictures of mine that i`m posting here accompanied by happy thoughts and good vibes!

GertJan, loved the viper collection, I thought you were going to nail every species in Europe for a minute... Seoanei is a big favourite of mine..one I have never seen in the wild, and near the top of my tick list for this year, health permitting. Loved the asp portrait.

Vlad, great berus pics, at first look I thought they were Dinniki or Kazanakovi.. great patterning.. were they not in the range of Nikokskii?
