Hello,

as a part of my introduction I think it would be nice to show you some pictures of my season so far.

Trip to Poland, Germany and Chzech Republic (1 week). Mostly sightseeing but when I got the change I searched for some reptiles.
Grass snake (Natrix natrix)

Slow worm (Anguis fragilis)

Rana Dalmatina

Common Toad (Bufo bufo)

A friend of me noted that in the Zoo of Prague a population of Natrix tessellata is present. A small river flows through the Zoo and I checked it out at a couple site. This resulted in the following shot. After 15 min. a grass snake joined the two! This made my holiday!

And some shots of what I encounter when out in the field :D

Some V. berus shots!

I hope I enjoyed it.

Greetings,

Tim

Very nice... However, I believe that's no dalmatina, but a temporaria.

That stump snout makes me a believer too, like the Natrix in the zoo picture!

Thanks for the advice! I've never seen one before and thought this might be it.

note to self: needs to read his fieldguides again

Thanks for the compliments!
