Herpetofauna Baireutae

Hello Forum,
this is my initial posting on this wonderful forum. I would like to show you some pictures of "my" local herpetofauna.
The year starts here with Salamandra salamandra which are of undefined subspecies as S.s. salamandra meets S.s. terrestris here.
This year I found my first hibernated "giantlarva"
We got an excellent botanical garden here, it serves as habitat for some nice animals like:
The forum-rules do not allow "handled" animals... This one is "footed" and the picture is not even faked
Bombina variegata
We have some sandpits around, I go there mostly for
Epidalea calamita
Rana temporaria
In the surrounding of course there is BUfo bufo
And while helping some toads to cross the road I find some "freaks" sometimes, like this Lissotriton vulgaris female
We also have some Reptiles around, I will post that someday too!
Best Greetings,
Kamil Szepanski
