Today I was in Switzerland to search for my favorite European vipera.
Maybe the last long distance trip this season.
I visited the area around Lake Biel (Lac de Bienne).
The weather forecast in for today on some Internet sides looks pretty good, a lot of sun, a few clouds and Temperatures around 22 Degrees.
But when I arrived at 8.30 h, it was a different, 18 Degrees, sky full of clouds, no sun.
What should I do? Driving back home?? 4 hours driving for nothing? No!
I was walking around, checked a lot of places, especially stonewalls, but nothing, not even a single muralis. After three hours I was a little bit frustrated and tiered and was walking back to my car. On the way back I checked a forest side.
Now some sun rays hit the ground and I hit my target!!
A skinny young female. I think she gave birth to some babies a few days ago and have now the first big meal in her stomach.
I try to stress her as less as possible, made a few shoots and let it go.
