Here is some pictures from my herping the spring of 2014 in the eastern part of Norway (mainly around Oslo) and a trip to Strömstad, Sweden
This year my first find was on 08.march, about 45km north of Oslo
The week after, I got the chance to get out again - and again I found adders. Some of them around the snow
Then my trip to Turkey interruptet the local herping, but when I got back again I found some real stunners. First these in Oslo
And the small bonus, Zootoca vivipara
Then came Easter, and I got the chance to take two trips to Strömstad, Sweden to have a look at the relict location of Lacerta agilis - probably the northern most population of these lizards
At the same trip I also saw the years first Anguis fragilis
And off course some beatiful males and a female Vipera berus
And last week, on the yearly herp trip with Norsk Herpetologisk Forening (Norwegian Herpetological Society) we found this adorable Smooth snake juvenile - a rare find in Norway
