They do in Norway, so I would be very surprised if they don't in Sweden also. But, I'm not quite sure if they will in all populations (?)

Does any of you guys now if that is the case south of the nordic countries ?

Pardon me, but WHAT do you mean by "the case south of the nordic countries"? Turning blue, not turning blue, or what?

I think I was very clear :)

In Norway, it seems like in some populations the males does not turn blue for a short period during mating season - but stay in the "normal color" also during breeding. Does anyone know if this also is the case in other countries, or does all breeding males change color in continetal Europe ?
