Found this lovely specimen this afternoon.
Wide pattern on the back, and lots of black on the sides, with silvergrey stripes.

Wow… that really is pretty, nice find Jimmy.
I saw this silver and black male last September and at the time I thought I bet he would look handsome in his breeding colours!
Going to look for him tomorrow so I hope he came through the winter ok…

I visited the site of that silver black male yesterday but I never saw him this time!
I saw what is for me the darkest berus I’ve seen so far though; it had beautiful skin like dark velvet.
