I tried real hard to find some wildlife while visiting our relatives in Moldavia. Not the best trip i must admit, but still... ;)

Roadcrusing also delivered two mammal species, the rarley seen alive ;) hedgehog and a marten. I think they are Erinaceus roumanicus and Martes fonia, but feel free to prove me wrong.

Hi Vlad,

What's the story behind the rescued Grass Snake?

No wonder those Martens keep getting run over if they sleep on the side of the road like that.

Hi,

Just got back from the road an hour ago and saw a fast Eastern Green Lizard and a not so fast Large Whip Snake, that got run over by the car right in front of us! :x
The Natrix was found in some abandoned farm pool, the same one that delivered a Pelobates back in March. The Spadefoot was nowhere in sight but there was this big lump in the snake`s belly... ;)
