Tomorrow we`ll be heading back home, so this is the last part of the travelouge, in case anyone got bored. ;)
I know you were hoping for more snakes, but i needed ticks for my lists, so it was back to the swamps for this guy! :)
Two new species were encountered today, one new for the trip list, and one that i added to the year list. :P I also know most consider this to be trash species, but i am very obssesd with my list keeping, so they mean a lot to me, believe it or not.

Pelophylax kl. esculentus

Roadcrusing also deivered this sad sight. My mammal books are back home but i believe it is a Forest Dormouse.

The long road back home delivered some herps as well. Close to the border we stopped for this:

D. caspius

If you ask me, the trip was a succes with 13 herp species (one new for my Moldova list and two additions for the year list ), four mammals, countless inverts and over 75 birds (including one lifer).Remember, this was not a herping trip, but family event.
Thanks for reading.
Cheers!
