Hi all,

i was on Stara planina from 1. july - 17. july, it was field organized by our society BSSRS Josif Pancic.
Stara planina is the one of the largest mountain in Serbia, and for me the most beautiful mountain, with highest peak Midzor 2,169 masl.
I worked mainly on Vipera berus there.

Great landscape! The striped Ablepharus and the Himantoglossum caprinum are interesting. Do you know the Pinguicula species?

Great photos Saša !

Do you go to field trips on Stara planina every July, or that is different each year? I would like to join you there once, but July is the worst possible time (exams and other obligations) :)

Hi Boris,

every July, we have exams in June, but you can come any time between 1. and 20. july, your colleagues from Croatia (ornithologists) come later, so its not a problem ;)

Cheers
