I can confirm that the L viridis were found in a northern coastal region (around a marshy lagoon - I think you know where that is??) LOL
By the way, I read that you have been bitten by Pseudopus apodus? Four years ago when I was last on Corfu I too had the misfortune to take a nip from an example at Korrision, although I must admit that it was due to a little teasing on my part! It did hurt though.
