Great chance, great report, great pictures, great snakes but it lacks a bit of text.
On Lesbos I was in 2003, we had no chance, no Montivipera... but one Platyceps ! Did you seen the dozens of dead goats and sheeps in the water that feed the Mauremys ?
Did you see Bufo viridis ?
