Bosniensis in situ

Hey everyone! :D

Remember how Bero always says it's veeeeeeeeeery difficult to get in situ shots of our lowland V. b. bosniensis? And I agree, it is very difficult... but here's "the exception that confirms the rule":

20.4.'13., as we were on our way to release two males used that day for the training of firemen (so they know what to do when they get called to remove snakes from people's houses/yards), we spotted this guy, a male we found 6 days ago on the exact same spot (poor guy has an old injury- a broken spine and a few ribs, but it obviously healed nicely, since he has no trouble moving and has good fat reserves)! I decided to try my luck... with good results:

17:20:08 (approx. 30 cm from him with the camera; of course, I had gloves on)

17:20:36 (he decided I got too close)

But at 17:39:34 he was back again

All in all, I'd say it went well...
