It`s been three years!

I skipped work yesterday and joined a friend for a roadtrip along the Danube. I needed to find Triturus dobrogicus, since the last encounter with this rare species left me filled with bittersweet feelings:

We ignored the heat and the mosquitos, herped really hard, and in just a couple of hours found 11 species.

Well, nice belly-shot of the Triturus dobrogicus! I hope you too went in in that pond and had your share in finding (or rather, catching) them this after you took the photo .
