Croatia May 2014

I visited Dubrovnik between 1/5 and 4/5 2014. My plan was to find Dalmatolacerta oxycephala, which I did. I had heard that it could be found around the old town city wall which turned out to be true. I also found another lizard, which I think is Podarcis siculus. On a small island outside Dubrovnik I also found one Testudo hermanni and many Lacerta trilineata. Please feel free to correct any misidentifications.

Nice observations, Magnus
Yes, those are Podarcis siculus, living together with the oxys at the city walls of Dubovnik.
These are introduced specimens from SE Italy, formerly ssp. ragusae.
(BTW, if you click the "place inline" button, the pictures will be without the "attachment-frame" - I've done it now)
