Went herping yesterday again and within an hour i found an adult Caspian whipsnake, a Long-nosed viper and of course lots of Hermann's tortoises, pond turtles etc...
Happy face...

What's the diameter of a 20 lekë coin? For purposes like that I use a 1 lipa (1/100 of a kuna) coin, 17 mm in diameter,
just 1 mm more then a 1 Euro cent...
Regarding your finds & pictures, the colourful Vammo "rules" (as the youngsters would say), ever again, at least for me.
Caspius is also not bad at all, of course.
Keep on. And keep a happy face, if only for the blessed habitat you have the luck to "own"...

Measure it - you might be surprised! I couldn't believe that a 1 lipa coin, so tiny as it looks, has as much as 17 mm.
It's the same problem as with the estimates of "1.5-meter" or "2-meter" snakes, only in the opposite direction...

The short snout gives it away. I was just wondering because the dull colours made it look just a little bit odd, that's all.
