So, how to see the difference between berus and bosniensis, when you dont know the location?
As I've already said, there is no way to be sure, except doing the DNA analysis.
Bero, why it cant be a lowland bosniensis?
There are simply no such (big) stones in their habitat. They hide and hibernate in mouseholes,
not under big stones.
Additionally, the structure/appearance of the surface of the rock. It's Alpine, or at least
reminding me of something quite high in the mountains. The only question remained WHICH
particular mountain. Whether in Bosnia or Montenegro (then it's a highland
bosniensis), or
somewhere in the Alpine region (then it's a
berus berus.)
