Lefkada

Postby Andre Schmid » Sat Jun 11, 2016 6:20 pm

Hello everybody,

today I arrived back home from our beach holiday in Lefkada, Greece.

After a overview over my pictures I finished the version 1 of my report. It was a very nice holiday with very nice species, to bad many species are only found as DOR´s....but my main goal was alive

Great findings from an island which is rarely visited by herpers. During my short stay I also noticed very much DOR animals...
Nice Viperas btw :-)

Its so easy!

graeca: NO nail at the end of tail, spurs

Nice result as always! I like the males of the island, with their very dark pattern. All in all V. ammodytes meriodinalis isn't my favourite subspecies, but these males are quite nice

you can also tell from the carapace, it is quite different between the two species.
