Lesvos May 2019

In the beginning of May I went on a small herping/birding trip with two friends to Lesvos, Greece. We mainly prepared ourselves looking for birding spots, most of the herp spots were picked while traveling between birding spots. Weather was not on our side for amphibians with temperatures of 5°C at night and windy. Here are some pictures of the herp-life we encountered, sadly no Montivipera. I will definitely revisit this wonderful island.

Very cool Pablo, great haul of species. As you said, shame about the lack of Montivipera but it's a perfect excuse to return! Many thanks for the images, love the Testudo graeca shot in particular!
