Best sites in Croatia

Me and my girlfriend would like to see and photograph some reptile species that are very rare or absent in Slovenia, so we'll be off herping in Croatia in May. Unfortunatly we only have 3-4 days to spare, so we'll have to be on the best locations for the species.
We'd need H. gemonensis, T. fallax and M. insignitus.
We need the pics for a project about the reptile species of Slovenia, but these snakes are extremly rare and thus almost impossible to photograph in nature here. We had luck with E. quatuorlineata in our week-long stay in FYR Macedonia (report coming soon), so we need only those three species.
First plan was the islands of Krk (but lacking monty) or Pag, but if anyone has better sugestions for good sites I would be very glad. Since exact locations are best being unpublished, private messages are the key
