The peculiarity of the picture is the fact that the square posture is absolutely natural: the animal was discovered under a sheet of a waste!

Vlad, I go back on holiday in Corfu from 20 years and I have never found a sand boa, neither alive nor dead: are there really? and where? :o

Hi,

When i was preparing for my honeymoon on Corfu i looked on the Literature page of Vipersgarden.
There i came across around three papers dealing with the islands herpetofauna, with maps and locality names for the Sand Boa. 8-)

Cheers!
