Vrdnik - Fruska Gora mountain and soutwest Serbia

Ok, we had faculty field trip, we collected plants(many i am sick of this, really) for herbarium. Ofcourse i did my own field reasearch, and i found a good number of amphibians and reptiles on Fruska gora, for free time that I had

species i found(Fruska gora):
Bufo bufo
Bufo viridis
Hyla arborea
Pelophylax ridibundus
Anguis fragilis
Podarcis muralis
Lacerta viridis
Zamenis longissimus
Coronella austriaca

every photo of V. ammodytes is in situ

calm and relaxed snakes, I was 10cm from them, amazing i used flash for second and fourth V. ammodytes shot, sun light was awful

Loved those vipers.
I`ve worked with ammodytes, montandoni & meridionalis, and they are really placid and gorgeus snakes indeed. But i still fancy them berus more.
