Stop whineing, there are two good populations of green lizard in the UK... but you wont find them arseing about in East London, bothering grass snakes :D

Maybe we should have a little day out later in the year.. stop you complaining about Blighty :D

:D Yes, I know...I'm just saying that I miss the feeling of being surrounded by green lizards all over the place, rather than fat pigeons ;)

On the other hand I can't see that many adders in a lifetime in Bulgaria, so this compensates! Anyway, we should definitely have a day out!

Was back for a speed-trip in South Tyrol, five hours searching, but of course I don`t found what I was looking for.
I saw
5 Hierophis viridiflavus (to old for getting them)
1 Natrix tessellata (disapeared in a hole)
1 Zamenis longissimus
3 adult Lacerta bilineata, 1 Juvenile
hudreds of muralis

A few pics:

I was waiting for something special, but nothing happen (lazy boy)

Still looks like a cool trip. The Zamenis is nice. And I love the male L. bilineata of course.
