Easter in Liguria... & first Pelobates fuscus!!!!!

Postby GertJan Verspui » Tue Apr 17, 2012 8:31 pm

I spend the easter weekend in the North West of Italy, the girlfriend wanted to come as well, so I had to make a deal, 3 days for me, one day shopping, guess which day was the worst day of the trip.....

We started south of Torino, went to the Cottian Alps, after not being able to find what I was looking for we went to Liguria, I hope you like the photos as much as I liked making them!!

As I already told you - very nice! You may guess that I am especially fond of the Speleomantes - The S. italicus looks cuter than any puppy ;).
But you invented the part with salamanders walking around under the hammocks, didn´t you? If not I might begin to fancy a camping trip...

so I had to make a deal, 3 days for me, one day shopping

That is really a noble gesture and fair-minded compromise (seen from the perspective of your girlfriend!). I guess you really can´t complain here...

Nice of you to think of those twisted people too ;)!

Real nice finds, congrats.
Now I think I should have gone to Liguria, too :) , in which regions have you been (of course I mean not the exact locality, I mean coastal or inland...)

Thank you...

Niklas, I went there to photograph these lovely herps.

Peter, the shopping turned out to be a disaster......she almost had to go to the airport by train......

Lauren.. the speleomantes was really there, actually I did find more strinatii outside then inside a cave (15-3), 2 off the were just walking around in daylight..
So start planning that camping trip, use a hammock, you've never slept better....
Twisted people------> Yessss

Dominik, the places we've been to were most of the time inland, but it was never very far from the coast...

Jeroen, the chocolat treefrog was in a large bucket with very brown water, so maybe its a very dirrrrty one.

Bobs, really, I think it called your name when I found it!!!!
