I recently did a tour in Calabria and I finally watched the Vipera aspis hugyi ... including a very special specimen 8-)

Btw. I never saw a hugyi in nature...but I also never saw a melanistic one on photo...cool found ! Congrats :)

Yes I have the book but dont remember on that photo..so this is the second melanistic hugyi I saw on photo :oops: :)

It was a great surprise to find a melanistic specimen!
I also believe that the only other specimen is photographed in the book by Brodmann!
3 days of research and 2 hugyi observed.
