Yes, my old Klein still does the job, I used it to reach the Speleomantes in the Sette Fratelli mountains, a flat tire halfway gave a lot of problems, the route back was a different one then the way towards the spot, better roads, but 15 km in stead of 8 km with a flat tire (rear).

It was a choice not to bring it......I had it in the campervan.......Thoughts: I havent killed a tire on my MTB in the last 3 years, so today will be ok not to bring the repair kit..............
