With all those viridiflavus in the surroundings, I guess that the vipers are quite shy. The habitat is really nice too, it was definitely the right time to visit that place. As it is quite sunny now in Germany, I think that you will not suffer from a post-holidays depression

Really good trip report! Seems you found the most interesting species to be found on the island; I think my favourite has to be the Sicilian Natrix though. Nice one!
