Finally ... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally ... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Postby Jürgen Gebhart » Fri Apr 15, 2016 3:57 pm

After reading a lot about them in Books, Articles, Internet, after a Quid pro quo Decision (you show me yours, I show you mine)

After asking many people for help, with almost no success

After all the hiking around in the well know places for nothing (wrong time, wrong place, to warm, to cold, to stupid?)

After all the pain and sweat in the past, I found today my first Ammodytes in South Tyrol!

After more than 10 Years, the Demon disappeared from my Back!

Now my most evil nightmare is over!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful specimen, congrats Jürgen, I'm happy for you ;) Are they that rare in this area? Are there several sightings from other herpers?

Congrats. A very pretty "ammo".
I still haven't found Salamandra. Not exactly an uncommon species. Dammit!

Thank you Guys!!!

Guillaume, they are not common, the populations are small and some spots are empty because some people need them for their private collections (fuck you Guys and your complete family)

One of my biggest personal Problems was that some Herpers visited the area one or two times and found them. That hurts me like hell and made my self-doubts bigger and bigger, but now the pain is over. :D :) :D

Why? I would rather make shoes of them...

Honestly: Very good that you finally won against your demon - these can make really bad vibrations... Congrats!

More than 10 years?! Really? Wow.

Congratulations to lifting the spell then, and to finding this very nice Vipera ammodytes!
