South Tyrol

South Tyrol

Postby Jürgen Gebhart » Sun Nov 22, 2009 8:52 am

A few pics that I made in the past five years.
When my wife and I going to south Tyrol these are not field trips.
We be there three or four days every year just for relaxing.
No hiking, just walking in the mountains and the valleys, enjoy the nature.
If I found anything I picture it.
I started April 2005 in south Tyrol with making pics.
These pics were made with different cameras, from Fuji pocket cam in the beginning to the Canon 400 D and 40 D now.

Very good collection, Jürgen!

But, a picture of the "best" species is missing (snake)!

Yes, Ilian, you may ask - and you will get an answer!

Its the long nose viper around Bolzano.
Most northwestern most distribution of the species and very very rare there.
Formerly it was ssp. ruffoi, but now included in the nominate race.
