Tuscany 2005 - 2009

Not fieldtrips, Vacations with my wife.
We are there every year for about ten days.
Enjoy the landscape, the food and the red wine!!!!
When I found some herps during our trips in the nature or old villages I picture them.

Behind the holiday flat I found a pound with a lot of Triturus and Lesotriton larvas.
I was not prepared, had no Aquarium or something like this on my side.
Good there was a coffee machine in the flat!!!!!!!!!!!

Next year all will be better, Iwill found alive viperas and I will found Testudos.

Jürgen,

thanks for sharing these nice pics - although made "only" during family holidays!
Yes, next year you will be able to do some Testudo hermanni, Emys orbicularis and Vipera aspis pictures!

Mario, it was not just only Holidays, We were there also in the hottest mouth of the years (July and August), beside this year, April, cold and rainy!!
So I think, not bad.
