@ Peter O.: I have yet to see my first living Macroprotodon cucullatus s.s. and to get to this tiny Greek islet Pori for Podarcis levendis. Then there's the debatable Hyla molleri and a certain Pelophylax kl. grafi still on the menu. Also need some decent/recent pics of Proteus, Iberolacerta horvathi, Salamandrina perspicillata, Timon (lepidus) nevadensis, Psammodromus sspp., Podarcis (erhardii) naxensis, the spotted Salamandra atra sspp., Salamandra salamandra almanzoris, an adult Salamandra (salamandra) longirostris, ... . Then there's Lissotriton (boscai) maltzani, the expected Pelodytes sp., Tarentola (mauritanica) fascicularis, etc. Vipera ursinii rakosiensis, I would also like to go find one day. I'm sure the splitters will keep me busy
, which is fine for me, 'cause I don't want to stop. And there's always the rest of the world... Anyway, in contrast to (probable) appearances, it's not all just about twitching to me - my summer tour will largely be about re-enjoying places where I've been before; might sound boring to some people, but I love to get to know places better and some are just too fantastic to visit only once
.
@ Peter E.: let me check my agenda for the long weekend that's coming up...
