I agree that is a nice area...and it was a crime not to find ursinii...only 2 aspis,flat viridiflavus and tons of muralis

No crime, I have been there 2 times, at 4 different days.
4 days x 3 people = 12 days
and we found 1 ursinii ... after 10 minutes at the first day of my first visit :roll:

On the pics in that area the habitat looks ok, but in reality is not so optimal....
Meadows are overgrazed and the soil is washed away by precipitations...so..no grass-no locusts-no ursinii food....
maybe is different(better) in other parts of the area,but we didnt have the time to check...

Nice shots! Orchids are a nice supplement for herping: if the herps escape, one can at least shoot some flowers... ;)
