Tuscany 2011

My family and I spent our holiday in Tuscany and there I found some nice Animals. Unfortunately, too little snakes. :D The report is only available in German :?

I´m woundering, if this one Lacerta bilineata was sitting up side down in reality? :lol:
...and the viridiflavus seems to be heavily injured, if not even dead - why? any idea?

Hmm an the small viridflavus was dead :( I think that maybe a adult L. billineata have killed him. In the area I found it were many big billineatas. :?: It may not have been killed a long time ago, because the eyes were still there. Additionally it could have been a bird Merops apiaster and Alcedo atthis were also very often where iI found it. I can only say that I have disturbed the offender otherwise he would have left not so much of it. :)
