Planing a fieldtripp for our herpetological society.

Hi !

My name is Daniel Claesson and i'm the president for our herpetological society. We are based in Southeast Sweden and have been active since 2010.
Link to our homepage: http://www.smhf-herp.se/

I'm planning a tripp to the "Iberian peninsula" that our herpetological society will do in spring 2013.
We are thinking of visiting the extreme south of France and northern Spain.

For many of the members this will be their first fieldtripp and i want to make it as good as possible. Myself have never been to this area before. Most of my fieldtripps have been to the Balkan peninsula and the Greek islands.

I now that some "key-species" for our members are:
Vipera latastei
Vipera seonei
Vipera ursinii (mine)
Malpolon monspessulanus
Timon lepidus
Lacerta sp.

I'm trying to find out some good areas to visit and i also know that people are not keen on giving exact locations (this is understandable)

Any tips or suggestions is welcome.

Books
Scientific papers
Fieldreports
People to talk to or visit "in situ" ;-)

Contact can be done through the forum or to my e-mail: daniel.claesson@me.com
